A professional supervision of film or sound studio recordings saves a lot of time, money and energy. The product of some of these demo recordings can be found in the “Pool of Vocalists”

Young singers especially, after the completion of their education, are confronted with the question of how to find their way around in the, for them, unknown “music business”, and at the same time to make themselves known on the music market. An incredible amount of time (and money!!) has to be invested in the beginning of the career. Often, the energies of the young singer are put into actions that quickly turn out to be completely useless for the professional advancement.

The career-coaching for singers in the Vocal studio Lindqvist offers the possibility to have a specifically and individually geared “travel itinerary” through the jungle of music business tailor made for them.

• analysis of the vocal possibilities
• analysis of the appearance during auditions
• precise counseling on the field and roles that should be offered
• drafting of a “battle plan” for auditions
• which agencies should be contacted? (not every agency fits to every singer…)
• which audition offers should be accepted? (very often you drive to an audition that doesn’t fit the profile at all, just because it was suggested by the agency)
• which consulting possibilities exist in legal matters (contracts, etc…)
• “audition training” in a sheltered setting (including video and audio recordings that are closely analyzed).

Additionally, Eva Lindqvist offers “audition trainings”, that prepare intensively for the extreme pressure at auditions and in opera and concert productions.

There is also the possibility of collaboration with experienced coaches in the fields directing, acting, repertoire and styling, that are essential for a successful “marketing”.

The lesson is extended with numerous studio concerts, where what has been learned in a sheltered setting can be put into practice right away. The concerts are taped and analyzed together. The singer thus, step by step, approaches the goal of an “optimal vocal performance”.
